Champion racehorse narrowly loses at Breeders' Cup.

Sometimes a few inches makes all the difference. After an unprecedented 19-race winning streak, Zenyatta lost in the Breeders' Cup Classic on Saturday, sullying the perfect career that had been a major boost to a sport saddled with drugs and tragedies in recent years. Last year, Zenyatta became the first mare ever to win the Breeders' Cup, and tonight’s victory would have set a new record. Not since Secretariat’s 1973 Triple Crown has a horse been so celebrated. "I think she's brought the sport back and is carrying it on her back right now," said Jockey Mike Smith.
