Zero Hedge Says Facebook Has Banned People From Sharing Its Posts

Reports of people getting an error message when trying to share site’s posts.

Zero Hedge—the financial blog that often strays into populist conspiracy theories—claims that Facebook has banned users from sharing links to its posts. In a post on its site, the blog claims readers have reported being unable to share links to articles and are receiving the error message of “couldn’t be shared, because this link goes against our Community Standards.” Zero Hedge’s pseudonymous writer “Tyler Durden” wrote he was “surprised by this action as neither prior to this seemingly arbitrary act of censorship, nor since, were we contacted by Facebook with an explanation of what ‘community standard’ had been violated or what particular filter or article had triggered the blanket rejection of all Zero Hedge content.” Facebook hasn’t yet commented on the allegation.
