Bryce Harper—who earlier this week signed a record-breaking $330 million deal with the Philadelphia Phillies—broke another record Sunday when his new Phillies jersey saw more sales in a 24-hour period than any other newly launched jersey, in any sport. The 26-year-old power-hitting outfielder also caused a spike in general Phillies merch: Gear sales were reportedly up 5000 percent compared to the same day in 2018, according to an online retailer cited by CBS Philadelphia.
