Cassie’s Lawyer Calls Diddy’s Conduct ‘Depraved’ After Raid
RAID REACTIONS
A lawyer for R&B singer Cassie Ventura, who was the first to accuse Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs of sexual and physical abuse, has responded to Monday afternoon’s raid on Combs’ two homes as part of an investigation into sex trafficking allegations. “We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law,” Ventura’s attorney Douglas Wigdor told Page Six. “Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct.” The singer dated Combs on-and-off from 2007 to 2018. Ventura filed her complaint against Combs in November, and it was privately settled a week later. Since then, three more women have come forward alleging they were sexually assaulted by Combs. Prince Harry was named as a party guest of the rapper in a lawsuit brought against Combs by music producer Rodney Jones. In his suit, Jones also made allegations that he was groped by actor Cuba Gooding Jr.
