Cops Contradict Angie Harmon’s Claim About Instacart Worker Who Killed Dog: TMZ
TWIST
Police say Angie Harmon’s dog had actually bitten the Instacart shopper who then shot the pet dead over Easter weekend, according to TMZ. The Rizzoli & Isles actress, 51, had said in an Instagram post that her dog Oliver was killed by the delivery man who “did not have a scratch or bite on him nor were his pants torn.” But the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department in North Carolina defended its decision not to press charges against the man, telling TMZ that he did have bite marks on him from the dog. The agency did not say how it had determined the driver—identified only as Christopher—had acted in self-defense. Sources also told the outlet Christopher is now unable to provide services for the grocery delivery app and that his account has been deactivated. In her post, Harmon had alleged that the gunman was working “under a woman’s identity” and that he repeatedly said “yeah, I shot your dog,” after the incident.
