French President Emmanuel Macron posted a compilation of videos featuring his face superimposed onto various scenes generated by artificial intelligence—including a hairstyle tutorial, a rap music video, and a film clip. In the series, Macron appears dancing with an ’80s-style mullet, combing long hair, and speaking about techno in a hoodie. The post is part of an effort to promote the development of AI in France and Europe ahead of a tech summit in Paris, which will welcome Open AI’s Sam Altman and Vice President JD Vance. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will co-chair the summit. Macron’s video has received more than 200,000 likes on Instagram while the corresponding post on X has been viewed nearly 10 million times. “It’s pretty well done,” Macron says at the end of the video. “It made me laugh. But more seriously, with artificial intelligence, we can do some very big things: change healthcare, energy, life in our society. France and Europe must be at the heart of this revolution to seize every opportunity and also to promote our principles.”
