Glenn Greenwald had the freedom to publish almost anything he wanted at The Intercept. Then he cried censorship.
The Intercept’s top editor fired back at Greenwald, writing that there was no “censorship” but rather just “a grown person throwing a tantrum.”
The charges are “an obvious attempt to attack a free press in retaliation for the revelations we reported about... the Bolsonaro government,” Greenwald told The Daily Beast.
First Look Media, the company that owns the Intercept, also announced that it was laying off several of the researchers who had been charged with maintaining the documents.
