MAGA Congresswoman Lauren Boebert has been hit with ads claiming she can’t be trusted “in a room full of children.”
The new spots, made by the Invest in Tomorrow Coalition—a renewable energy super PAC—remind voters that Boebert was kicked out of a live production of Beetlejuice for vaping and groping her date.
“She and her companion, explicitly groping each other repeatedly,” a newsreader’s voice says over grainy black and white security footage of the incident.
“Costs are skyrocketing in Colorado and politicians are failing us. If Lauren Boebert can’t be trusted in a room full of kids, then she can’t be trusted in the halls of Congress,” the ad concludes, while footage of Boebert and her date being kicked out of the theater plays.

Boebert first weathered the Beetlejuice scandal in September 2023, when it broke that she had been removed from the theater. Initially, Boebert denied wrongdoing, with her rep claiming she had unknowingly snapped a picture of the performance against the theater’s rules.

But surveillance footage of Boebert and her date Quinn Gallagher filmed in the theater quickly contradicted her version of events and showed the two getting touchy-feely.

Even Republicans piled on the “family values” congresswoman, with Meghan McCain describing her as “trash” and Ann Coulter ripping her as a “totally embarrassing bimbo.”
Forced into a mea culpa, Boebert walked back her earlier denials, instead seemingly blaming her recent divorce.
“There’s no perfect blueprint for going through a public and difficult divorce, which over the past few months has made for a challenging personal time for me and my entire family,” Boebert said.

“I’ve tried to handle it with strength and grace as best I can, but I simply fell short of my values on Sunday,” she wrote on Facebook at the time.
Boebert was re-elected to Congress in 2024, and is now running again in the usually reliably-red Colorado 4th district.
But the PAC is hoping voters have less patience for Boebert this cycle as the cost of gas and groceries has skyrocketed in recent months.
A recent poll funded by the PAC shows Boebert with 45 percent of the vote, the Democrat challenger with 40 percent, and support for the third party independent 9 percent, with a further 6 percent undecided.
Tom Matzzie, chairman of the PAC, said Boebert was one of their targets because she has fought Colorado clean energy initiatives “at every turn.”
He said Boebert had “done nothing to bring down what families pay. Over the coming weeks, we’ll make sure every voter in the 4th District knows her record.”
The Cook Political Report lists the Colorado Fourth as Solid Republican, but has not updated the district since November 2025.
Boebert did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
