In a just-announced deal, Oprah Winfrey—whose Book Club became its own publishing sensation—will write her own memoir, The Life You Want—for a reputed eight figures, to be published in January 2017. Winfrey will also publish several other titles under her own imprint at Flatiron Books, a division of Macmillan.
“All of my experiences, even the painful ones, have been there to teach me something about life,” Winfrey said in a statement. “I’m still learning and I hope my story inspires other people to live the highest, fullest expression of themselves.”
