Jon Macks is a comedy writer, speechwriter and award show writer who also works as a political consultant and debate prep consultant for Democratic political candidates. He is a 10-time Emmy nominee and a two-time Writers Guild Award winner. He has been the head writer or show and host writer on 26 Oscar telecasts, more than anyone in history, is an executive producer of the James Carville documentary, Carville: Winning Is Everything, Stupid, and a huge Phillies, Eagles and 76ers fan.
