War crime
Putin’s brutal war takes dead aim at the heart of Ukrainian humanity. The world must hold him accountable.
The head of the Belarusian Red Cross has admitted to taking children from Ukraine, following allegations that some deported minors have gone missing altogether.
Neighbors told The Daily Beast they had no idea the man allegedly carried out a slew of wartime atrocities, with one calling it “f*cking crazy.”
Maria Lvova-Belova described Ukrainian children forcibly transported to Russia as if they were defective, lamenting that Russia will have to “re-educate” them.
“We have no option not to arrest Putin. If he arrives, we will have to arrest him.”
“This is essentially a call to overthrow the government in Russia,” one official reportedly said at a special meeting to address the arrest warrant.
The statement stands in stark contrast to other Kremlin allies that are not deviating from loyalty to Moscow.
