It’s been a good week for hover tech. Hoverboards like the one Marty McFly rode have long been the domain of Internet fantasy and Tony Hawk pranks. But Lexus has apparently developed an actual hoverboard that is rideable.
In other hover-news this week, the U.S. Defense Department plans to invest in hoverbike technology developed by the UK company Malloy Aeronautics. Probably not the sort of backing the company was expecting when it launched its Kickstarter campaign last year.
