Lincoln Center Global Exchange: Evening Celebration

The inaugural Lincoln Center Global Exchange—a high-level summit examining how art and culture can be even more effective in fostering vibrant cities, healthy citizens, and strong communities worldwide—culminates in an all-star evening of performances intended to reach a worldwide audience of citizens who believe that art remains a remarkable catalyst for change and an expression of the human spirit. Curated by Sir Jonathan Mills (Edinburgh International Festival, 2006–2014), the program celebrates innovative artists and ideas that propel positive change around the world. The evening will feature performances by Youssou N’Dour (Senegal), Gustavo Dudamel and Orquesta de Camara de la Sinfónica Nacional Infantil de Venezuela, David Broza and the Polyphony Quartet (Israel), Jessica Lang Dance (US), Shen Wei Dance Arts (US/China), Akram Khan Company (UK), Companhia de Dança Deborah Colker (Brazil), Ruben Santiago-Hudson (US), Ying Fang (China), Thesele Kemane (South Africa), and more.The official hashtag of the Lincoln Center Global Exchange is #ArtPropelsTheWorld.
