Cookie Monster has always been one of the most beloved features of that PBS childhood staple, Sesame Street. Despite his substance abuse problem, he has growled and goofed his way into our hearts and taught us plenty about growing up along the way.
In recent times his acting career has really taken off. He’s moved out of TV and secured some starring roles in a number of cinematic classics – or at least a version of them. First there was “Star S’Mores,” and now, continuing the tradition of borderline offensive baked goods puns, he stars in “Furry Potter and the Goblet of Cookies,” working with Professor Crumblemore to teach unsuspecting kids to “listen carefully.”
In the tradition of Dora the Explorer, the Professor’s directions are repeated early and often, but if you make it through the repetitions you can savor a delicious ending.
