Hillary Clinton's Hair Gets Twitter Accounts: Hillary's wavy new do has already sparked major publicity -- with the media obsessing over her more softly waved locks -- and now, it has spawned dueling Twitter accounts. @HillarysHair and @Hillarys_Hair are both dedicated to tweeting about things like Hillary's "use of a butterfly clip" (which also initiated a Facebook fan page entitled "Hillary Clinton's Butterfly Clip"). Despite the publicity craze surrounding her new hair style, both Twitter pages have failed to go viral, with each having only 4 followers and 13 followers, respectively. [NY Daily News]

Taylor Swift Fans Reportedly Send Death Threats Over Graphic Tee: Taylor Swift and her many rumored exes produce the perfect parody for an ironic t-shirt, as demonstrated by both Abercrombie & Fitch and, more recently, Bad Kids Clothing. The electronic dance music-themed clothing company created a top that lists the last names of men Swift has been associated with. Orginally, the t-shirt was not available to the public, but after reportedly recieving threats and demands to take it down, the company decided to actually produce the shirt and sell it online. Lex Houser and Andi Cross, who run BKC, refused to succumb to the threats of Swift’s fans. “Andi and I both had a history of being cyber bullied growing up, and these kids are thinking if they just tell us that they’re going to kill us and that 30 million people are going to attack us, that we would just do what they said. That rubbed us the wrong way,” Houser said. They are hoping that by leaving the shirt up, Swift's fans will learn a lesson on cyber-bullying. This outrage occurred shortly after Abercrombie produced a similarly suggestive shirt about Swift. The singer's fan base's reaction to the A&F shirt was so intense, the company pulled the top soon after its release. [Fashionista]

Interior Designer David Collins Dies: Renowned interior designer and architect David Collins died on Tuesday from virulent skin cancer difficulties. According to Vogue UK, Collins was diagnosed with the disease only weeks ago. Collins founded the David Collins Studio and is a well-known name in the world of high fashion. "David's death is a real shock," Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman said. "As well as being responsible for designing many of the most influential London restaurants and bars of our age, he was a dear friend of many at Vogue. His work merged luxury, glamour and heritage in an inimitable fashion and his company was always of the first and most enjoyable order." [Vogue UK]

Karl Lagerfeld And Oktoberfest Take Munich: Munich will be home to some noteworthy celebrations this fall, most notably, Oktoberfest’s 180th anniversary and Karl Lagerfeld’s first standalone concept store opening. Lagerfeld designed a Bavarian-inspired collection to mark the opening of the boutique, which will open in September. According to WWD, the collection mixes classic Bavarian pieces with edgy black leather. [WWD]

NYPD Recruits Valerie Salembier: Former publisher of Town & Country and Harper’s Bazaar Valerie Salembier will serve as the Assistant Deputy Commissioner for the New York City Police Department. Ray Kelly, with whom Salembier has a personal relationship, recruited Salembier for her help in the public information office. "I’ve always had an interest in law enforcement,” Salembier said. "My goal is to put out good news because there’s always good news." [WWD]
