Ken Kurson, a close friend of the Trump family, thought he was in the clear after Trump wiped away charges related to a divorce meltdown.
“Oh, I don’t think the blanket wants a pardon. I think it wants to be burned. It’s seen too much,” the “Late Show” host joked.
It is unclear if Gaetz or Trump knew of the sex trafficking investigation into the Florida congressman, but the White House declined anyway.
