Does anyone else feel Pippa Middleton's profile quietly sneaking back up again? Well, William and Kate obviously do, and now, the younger sister of the future Queen has once again been told to tone it down by the palace.

Pippa Middleton has been quietly asked by Kate and Prince William to scale back her public appearances, according to a report in The Mail.

Pippa has started writing for The Spectator, is a contributing editor at Vanity Fair, and has a monthly column in Waitrose Food Illustrated.

But friends of Prince Harry quoted by The Mail say, "Pippa has been asked to tone it down.

'Kate and William didn’t want her to write her party planning book, Celebrate, let alone a regular column in various magazines.

‘They have spoken to her about this."

Pippa was recently banned from competing in a charity tennis match over concerns it would steal the royal spotlight.
