Thousands March for Science Around the World

Scientists and proponents for evidence-based thinking are refusing to be silenced today through marches protesting Donald Trump and his administration’s environmental and energy policies.

The protests, which were planned to coincide with Earth Day, began in Australia prior to the main march in Washington, DC today. Organizers of the March for Science said there are more than 600 “satellite” protests planned globally.

People take part in the March for Sciences as part of Earth Day 2017 in Paris, to defend science and scientific integrity and to call for political leaders and policy makers to enact evidence based policies in the public interest.
