It’s been eight years since alt-pop band OK Go stole our hearts with synchronized treadmill dancing in the single-take Grammy-winning video, “Here It Goes Again.” Now, they’re back with a new album coming in the fall, a new single, and a new mind-bending video.
‘The Writing’s on the Wall’ is another one-taker, but ups the ante on choreography, as the band guides the camera around various optical illusions that take advantage of depth perception. Reportedly, 50 takes were required to get everything right, and judging by the complicated design, that’s still impressive.
Take a look; you won’t believe what you’re seeing.
