San Francisco 49ers fullback Bruce Miller was arrested for assault on Monday morning after he allegedly attacked a 70-year-old hotel guest and his son. Miller, 29, reportedly tried getting a room at the Fisherman’s Wharf Marriott Hotel on Sunday night, but was told that no rooms were available. He then returned to the hotel, knocked on one of the doors, and began attacking the man who answered the door, along with his 70-year-old father. The older man was punched in the face and came away with broken bones before Miller fled the scene. Miller, who was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and battery among other offenses, was released from the team later Monday afternoon, the team tweeted.
