6 Killed in Kabul Suicide Attack

A suicide bomber at a military hospital complex in Kabul killed six people and injured dozens of others. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack. The assailant struck a tent that was being used as a dining hall. Security personnel locked down the compound while searching for a second suicide bomber, but did not find one. This is the latest in a series of Taliban strikes against government buildings and military bases, some of which have been touted as revenge for the death of Osama bin Laden. Just last month, an attack on the defense ministry killed two people.
