American Men Less Concerned About Sexual Harassment Than in 2017: Gallup Poll
NOT SHOCKING
Men in the U.S. are less likely to claim that sexual harassment is a major problem in the work place than they were in 2017, at the height of the #MeToo movement, according to a Gallup poll. Fifty-three percent of the men polled said that sexual harassment in the workplace is a major problem. That’s down from 66 percent in 2017. Meanwhile, about 46 percent of men say that people in the work place aren’t sensitive enough to sexual harassment. That number is down by eight percentage points from what it was in 2017. Gallup also found that only 48 percent of U.S. women believe that women are treated with respect and dignity, a record low. That number is a 14-point decline from 2017.
