Send Us Your Presidential Inauguration Photos From D.C. or Home

Thousands are expected to converge on Washington, D.C., for Obama’s inauguration, and The Daily Beast wants your help. Email us your pictures from the Mall—or just from your setup at the office or at home.

Will you be traveling to Washington, D.C., to attend President Obama’s second inauguration? Do you have any plans to tune in at home or the office? Either way, we want to see the inauguration through your eyes! If you’d like to participate, take a moment to snap a few photos of your experience during Monday's inauguration and send them to dailybeastsubmit@gmail.com. The Daily Beast’s photo editors will take a look and pick their favorites, with the best running in a gallery on the website. Don’t forget to include your name, location, and a brief story about how you watched.

To participate…

STEP ONE: Take a photo of your view at the inauguration (in person or at home)—of the crowds, the president, or anything else that suits your fancy.

STEP TWO: Send the photo(s) in an email to dailybeastsubmit@gmail.com, including your name, location, and a brief description.

(Please note: sending us a photo is your way of telling us it’s cool we run that photo on the site. If you have any problem with that … don’t send a photo!)
