Getting Fake IDs is About to Get Way Harder

file

New York Times

Sorry, 19-year olds, it looks like it's going to be harder to make a fake New York State license. If you've never seen a current New York license, it is completely bendable with an almost silky feel and a 'sine curve' going across it. Comparable to almost every state in the country, the New York licenses are already almost impossible to forge.

The new IDs will essentially look like the new Virginia licenses, minus the Virginia state capitol building, and plus a Statue of Liberty.
