Coco Rocha Nabs Tech Editor Job; Dolce & Gabbana Could Face Jail Time

and Nike severes licensing ties with Livestrong.

Coco Rocha, PC Mag’s New Editor: Coco Rocha has embarked on another off-the-runway endeavor as a contributing editor to PC Mag. Those accustomed to seeing Rocha on the catwalk might be surprised by the move, but she thinks it was a logical step. “I’m actually the kind of girl who’d rather buy a new tablet over a new pair of heels any day of the week," Rocha wrote in her blog. Dolce & Gabbana Face Jail Threats: Milanese prosecutor Gaetano Ruta has called for the imprisonment of designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, along with their company's board member Cristiana Ruella, and the designers's accountant, Luciano Patelli, for the group’s alleged tax evasion in the 2004 sale of diffusion line D&G. Ruta explained during her closing statements at a Milan courthouse on Wednesday that Dolce, Gabbana, and Ruella should each face two and a half years’s jail sentence, while Patelli should be subjected to three years of hard time. Nike and Livestrong Cut Ties: Nike has ended its licensing agreement with cancer charity Livestrong, following a 5-year partnership. The split follows public disgrace endured by Livestrong founder Lance Armstrong after news of his use of performance enhancers had him stripped of seven Tour de France titles, as well as multiple endorsements. Nike says it will continue to fund the Livestrong charity directly, rather than through by proceeds of licensed merchandise. [WWD]

Steven Meisel Selling Home: Famed fashion photographer Steven Meisel has listed his Beverly Hills home on the market for a cool $13 million. The 1963 mid-century 6,300-square-foot residence, designed by George MacLean, has three bedrooms, a library, a private office (which can be converted into a gym), two private-entrance guest suites, and six bathrooms. Meisel reportedly bought the home for $2.75 million in 2001. [WSJ]
