Jürgen Todenhöfer is the author of My Journey into the Heart of Terror: Ten Days in the Islamic State. A German journalist, politician, and former judge, he studied law and political science at the Universities of Munich, Paris, Bonn and Freiburg and received his doctorate in law from the University of Freiburg.
