“Superflat First Love,” an animated short timed with the release of their new line of leather goods. The surreal video is an imitation of life, as it features a character named Aya—a Murakami take on a panda—who is transported back to 1897 Paris. There, she meets Gaston-Louis Vuitton, who is working on (no surprise here) a monogram print.
