Harry Reid Opposes Ground Zero Mosque

This is pretty disappointing for Democrats: Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has come out against the so-called ground zero mosque, saying it “should be built someplace else.” That pits him against President Obama, who this weekend defended the Muslim group’s right to build an Islamic center in downtown Manhattan. Reid’s opponent in Nevada, Sharron Angle, attacked him over the issue this morning. Meanwhile, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg continued to endorse the mosque today, saying that it would be a " sad day for America" if the mosque project were shut down.
