Hackers Threaten Amazon.com

This may put a dent in holiday sales: Hackers are threatening to take down Amazon.com after the company booted WikiLeaks off its server last week. Hackers have been on a bit of a tear recently, taking down Visa and MasterCard on Wednesday after the companies stopped processing payments to WikiLeaks. The group, called “Anonymous,” is calling their campaign “Operation Payback.” They instructed followers to “TARGET: WWW.AMAZON.COM” on the Twitter feed, @Op_Payback.
