Former News International executive Rebekah Brooks was arrested Sunday in connection to the phone-hacking allegations, Britain’s Sky News is reporting. London's Metropolitan Police confirmed it arrested a 43-year-old woman at noon London time, but declined to give a name. Brooks, 43, resigned Friday as News International’s chief executive, and she is scheduled to testify before Parliament on Tuesday. In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said she was arrested “on suspicion of conspiring to intercept communications,” but declined to discuss any further details.
