Ex-Miss Iceland Outed Whitey Bulger

    The tipster who helped the FBI nab notorious Boston gangster Whitey Bulger has been identified as a former Miss Iceland, The Boston Globe reports in a detailed story. Former model and actress Anna Bjornsdottir, Miss Iceland 1974, lived in the Santa Monica area and befriended Bulger and his girlfriend, Catherine Greig, because the couple had the habit of feeding an abandoned tabby cat named Tiger. She knew them as Charlie and Carol Gasko, but immediately recognized them as the fugitive couple after watching a CNN report. Her reward? Two million dollars.
