Perry Refuses to Repudiate Pastor

    Texas Gov. Rick Perry has refused to disavow a Dallas pastor—a supporter of his—who called Mormonism a cult. Perry announced his decision through a spokesman after fellow GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney on Tuesday called on Perry to repudiate Rev. Robert Jeffress, the pastor of First Baptist Dallas who said Romney was not really a Christian. Jeffress stood by his remarks Sunday.
