After Regis Philbin leaves his longtime morning post, comedian Jerry Seinfeld will be the first to sit in his chair. Philbin’s final day on the show is Nov. 18. Then the reins will be handed over to his cohost, Kelly Ripa, for ABC’s renamed series Live! With Kelly. Many male personalities will join Ripa, the first of whom is Seinfeld, who will appear on the Nov. 21, 22, and 23 episodes. "Jerry is a great friend of ours, and a friend of Kelly's, and it doesn't hurt that he's an entertainment icon," executive producer Michael Gelman told USA Today. "It's a great way to kick off the new beginning of our show."
