Not another one. Bernie Fine, a longtime assistant basketball coach at Syracuse University, was placed on administrative leave Thursday after local police announced they are investigating him for child molestation. A University spokesman said the school launched a four-month investigation in 2005 after an adult male told the school he had been molested in the 1980s (the statement didn't mention Fine's name). The school said police didn't pursue the claim because the statute of limitations had expired. In a later statement, the school said Fine had been put on leave in light of “new allegations.”
