In what’s likely just the beginning of traditional year-end lists, Bing.com has released the “most searched” list of 2011. On top, unsurprisingly, is Justin Bieber followed in second by Kim Kardashian. Jennifer Lopez, who wasn’t included in last year’s top 50, jumped to No. 5 in 2011, replacing Barack Obama, who dropped to 49th. Kate and Pippa Middleton were also frequently searched this year, but celebrities weren’t the only names on the list. The story of Casey Anthony’s trial was among the most searched, ahead of Osama bin Laden’s death. While Snooki topped housemates J-Woww and Pauly D as the most searched Jersey Shore cast member, the MTV guilty pleasure came in third in the reality-TV-show ranking.
