George Lucas has been updating and tweaking the Star Wars story ever since it hit the big screen, but in a new profile, he says the series’ impossible-to-please fans have stripped his desire of wanting to add to his fictional universe. “Why would I make any more when everybody yells at you all the time and says what a terrible person you are?” he says. Lucas won’t be making any more Star Wars films, but there’s still talk of a TV series that covers the time between the end of the original series and the second trilogy of “prequels” released in the late '90s to mid-2000s.
