Romney Aide: We're Going to Lose Big

    Team Romney is likely to lose in South Carolina–but it will make them stronger. That’s what an anonymous aide told BuzzFeed as voters went to the polls Friday. “I think we’re going to lose tonight, we could lose big,” the senior aide said. “But I think it’s been a terrible week for Gingrich and a great week for us.” Gingrich, who’s currently polling with a 27 percent favorability rating nationally, has made himself look petulant and mean over the last week, the aide said, lashing out at everyone from Romney to Marianne Gingrich, the former Speaker’s second wife. “When we go up against Newt, it helps us in the general election,” the aide said.
