Cheney Released From Hospital

    Former vice president Dick Cheney was released from a Virginia hospital Tuesday, 10 days after receiving a heart transplant. In a statement, the vice president thanked Inova Fairfax Hospital in Virginia for their “excellent care” and expressed his “deep gratitude” to the unknown heart donor and the donor’s family. Cheney has had well-documented heart troubles over the years, suffering his first heart attack at age 37.
