John Kerry Hits the Campaign Trail

John Kerry is ready to play his part in the 2012 presidential campaign, acting as a surrogate for President Obama. But in addition to simply supporting the president, Kerry’s involvement has sparked speculation that the Massachusetts senator is looking to get in line for Hillary Clinton’s spot if she decides to step down. But if he’s interested in a cabinet position, Kerry’s keeping it to himself, saying, “People waste a lot of time playing games with speculation around here. I’m not going to engage in it.” He also insisted he’ll be running for reelection in 2014.
