    Teens Text While Driving

An anonymous survey of American high schoolers showed that 58 percent admit to texting or emailing while driving. The survey represents the first time the Centers for Disease Control has published statistics on texting and driving. The average teen sends and receives 100 text messages per day, and many say they believe texting while driving is not dangerous if they hold the phone up where they can see the road or write messages while paused at stoplights.
