House Files Suit Against Holder

    The House of Representatives has asked a federal court to enforce a subpoena that demands that Attorney General Eric Holder produce records regarding operation “Fast and Furious.” The House held Holder in contempt of Congress in June after they failed to work out a deal on releasing the documents. The House held separate votes to find Holder in criminal and civil contempt, and the civil contempt finding resulted in the lawsuit. The Justice Department has said that it will not bring criminal charges against Holder.
