Bomber in Afghanistan Kills 13

    Three service members as well as at least 10 Afghan civilians and police officers were killed on Monday when a suicide bomber detonated himself in Khost City. Soldiers from Afghanistan and members of the international coalition in the country were conducting a patrol in the area at the time of the bombing. The Taliban released a statement saying “the attack was carried out with a suicide vest worn by one of our hero mujahid, named Shoiab Kunduzi.” Sixty people were reportedly wounded in the explosion.
