Latino voters support President Obama now more than ever, according to a new poll released by Latino Decisions Monday. Seventy-three percent of Hispanic voters favor the president, compared with 21 percent who are in favor of Mitt Romney. While Obama has always carried a significant portion of the Latino vote, this is the first time the group’s support for the president has surpassed 70 percent. This is particularly good news for the Obama campaign as a record number of Latinos--23.7 million are now eligible to vote in the presidential election, according to the Pew Rsearch Center.
