Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band perform at the Apollo Theater on Friday, March 9, 2012 in New York.

Does this mean Bruce Springsteen is weighing in on the whole birther debate? The “Born in the U.S.A.” singer will appear with President Clinton at a rally for President Obama in Ohio on Thursday, the campaign announced on Saturday. The event will be free and open to the public. Springsteen, a longtime supporter of Obama’s, has an appeal among blue-collar workers, which Obama will have to get the support of if he hopes to win Ohio’s crucial 18 electoral votes. Obama uses Springsteen’s song “We Take Care of Our Own” on the campaign trail.
