Obama has one a major battleground state, with CNN and NBC reporting that he’s taken Iowa. But with good news comes bad news—he has also ceded another state to Romney. North Carolina, which Obama carried in 2008 and is one of the most conservative leaning of this election’s swing states, has been projected for Mitt Romney, according to the AP. The news comes as another wave of polls close at 11 p.m. California, Hawaii, New Mexico and Washington have already been called for Obama by both CNN and NBC, while Romney is projected to win Missouri and Idaho. The Daily Beast’s electoral map at 11 p.m. showed Obama leading Romney 220 electoral votes to 187.
