More than 500 homes were flooded and a woman was killed as severe floods swept parts of England. Prime Minister David Cameron pledged government assistance as officials advised against traveling in affected areas. Two hundred fifty flood warnings were in place across the country Sunday morning. Torrential rains continued to lash the South West and Midlands area, flooding portions of main arteries as well as dozens of other roads. The weather seemed to calm early Sunday, but forecasters said more rain may be in store.
