Box Office: ‘Skyfall’ Back at No. 1

If Bond’s taste in martinis taught us anything, it’s that a little shake up is a good thing. Three weeks after losing the top spot, Skyfall was resurrected to No. 1 at the box office this weekend after its fifth week out. It also broke the record for the highest grossing Sony release of all time, with $261.1 million in North America. The film has crushed recent Bond release numbers, but still pales in comparison to the massive moneymakers of the ‘60s like Thunderball and Goldfinger. Guess everything Adele touches really does turn to gold.
