    Wall Street Bonuses Rise

    Survival of the fittest still reigns on Wall Street. Despite layoffs across the industry, the New York State Comptroller is reporting that cash bonuses will increase by a decent 8 percent this year. In the New York City financial industry, the average cash bonus for 2012 was $121,900—more than twice the nation’s median household income for a whole year.
