    Israel: Syria Used Chemical Weapons

    Israel has said it before, but this time, it’s serious. Syria has used chemical weapons several times over the past month, Israel says, and the international community better pay attention—the U.S. in particular. “The regime has increasingly used chemical weapons,” said the Israeli Defense Force’s research commander, citing photographs of people "foaming at the mouth" and other evidence. The Obama administration had previously declared Syria’s use of chemical weapons a “red line” that, if crossed, would prompt real action.
