The brothers believed to be behind the Boston Marathon bombing were heading to New York City next, but not for more attacks. Instead, New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly says, they planned to celebrate. “There is some information that there may have been intent to come to New York, but not to continue what they were doing,” said Kelly, citing information that came from Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. “The information that we received is something about a party—having a party.” Also on Wednesday, officials confirmed it appears the bombs the brothers set off had remote controls from toy cars inside them and were triggered by cellphones.
